Approach: As a humanistic therapist, Helena believes that every human being is a person of value. Her aim is to provide a non-judgmental and supportive environment which facilitate clients to find understanding and meaning in their lives.

Her aim is to establish trust and create a space where clients can feel free to speak of what is troubling them and of what may seem unspeakable.

Helena will support you in understanding what drives your behaviours and what lies beneath unhelpful patterns of relating. When we have loving and compassionate acceptance of our patterns and behaviours, change will happen. She believes that by becoming more self -compassionate we can let go of self-critical ways of thinking and unhelpful behaviours, thus relieving our distress. Helena welcomes you to contact her and suggests that you have an initial meeting with her to see if she can be of help to you.

Helena works with a range of issues. She works with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She also has a particular interest in the unconscious patterns of communication that occur in relationships.

Experience: Helena has many years of experience. She works with clients from a broad range of backgrounds and who come with complex and difficult issues. She has worked in the voluntary sector with Gorey Family Resource Centre. She also works in private practice.
