Qualifications: Dip. Counselling & Psychotherapy, Dip. Gestalt Psychotherapy,
B.A. Counselling & Integrative Psychotherapy, M.Sc. Systemic Psychotherapy.
Professional Training: Caroline trained in humanistic and integrative psychotherapy with the Institute of Creative Counselling & Psychotherapy. Having completed her training in Gestalt Therapy with the Dublin Gestalt Centre, Caroline subsequently committed to an M.Sc. with UCD & Mater Hospital in Systemic (Family) Psychotherapy.
Approach: Caroline integrates the above approaches in her work with individuals, couples and families. Client issues and life dilemmas vary but they are all deeply meaningful in the context of each human experience. Caroline’s aim is to facilitate clients access their own unique potential to overcome their problems and move positively through times of transition and despair. She offers a warm welcoming space which is client-led and is based on acceptance without judgement. Caroline works with a diverse range of issues.
Experience: Caroline has gained extensive experience in a varying and broad range of complex presentations through private practice and in her work with the Gorey Family Resource Centre together with Parentline and the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre. In 2014 Caroline together with her colleague Helena, set up Gorey Therapy Centre which supports individuals, couples and families in Co. Wexford and South Wicklow.
